📣Celebrate the CGTA 10th Anniversary and our 9th Costume Swap!
Chicago Green Theatre Alliance and Conscious Costume are excited to join Steep Theatre this year for our annual swap!
🎃OCTOBER 18 + 19 🎃 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
💖 WE ACCEPT: Clothing, Costumes, Shoes, Hats, Accessories, Winter Warming Items (jackets, gloves, scarves, etc), Household Textiles (towels, sheets, blankets, etc), and fabric pieces greater than 1 yard.
💔 We will NOT ACCEPT fabric scraps or non-costume props
All are welcome to attend, everything is free for the taking but we appreciate donations to help us keep running this event and buy lunch for our wonderful volunteers who make this possible!
We are looking for volunteers!!
Not only do volunteers get to know others in our theatre community, but they also get their first pick of costumes! Lunch will be provided on Friday and Saturday. If you're interested, please email chigreentheatre@gmail.com or sign up on this form. We can't wait to talk with you.

If you have a lot of costumes to drop off, please sign up here so we can make sure we are ready for you. Time slots are available beginning Thursday, Oct. 19 starting at noon.

Can anyone attend?
Yes! You do not have to be a theatre or film professional to attend.
Is there any cost?
Everything is free for the taking! However, this event is not free to produce so we appreciate a $5 donation per person to help us keep this accessible.
What happens to the items that are left after the swap?
We do our best to sustainably re-home every item we get. We work with local creative reuse centers, non-profits, shelters, mutual aid orgs, recyclers, and more! Please email us if you know of an organization we should invite!
