Scrap Squad is a cross-industry effort by apparel, costume, and textile artists and businesses in the greater Chicagoland. Our mission is to touch on the different communities who use textiles and create options for a systemic shift in evaluating waste by finding ways to sustainably reuse, rehome, and recycle fabric and textile waste.
